Modern Barbarians

"We are the sons of the barbarians,
The rapists and offenders of the ancient world,
Shall we shame the past,
And keep the scroll curled."

We endured the shame,
When allowing the world to follow his path,
As everything we claim,
On an eternal bloodbath.

Lets us seize the reins,
Because the future is ours, and ours alone,
still some hope remains,
lets show the best mankind has known.

I stooped watching television,
when it became empty and dark,
Was created to provide us entertainment,
but only shows the dog's bark.

Wars, revolution,
Blood and tears,
The nations claim, in name of evolution
all escalating with the years...
